History
AGRIFOR Biotechnical Services Ltd. is based in New Brunswick, Canada and was created in 2010 by Christopher Riley, an experienced cross-disciplinary contract research scientist, consultant and project manager with over 30 years of experience in the development, validation and communication of strategies to reduce the risks posed by pesticides to human health and the environment. AGRIFOR Biotechnical Services Ltd. provides research and development of improved pesticide application technology as well as the development, management and leadership of collaborative, multi-disciplinary research projects and international technology transfer projects involving government research organizations, national and regional regulatory agencies, academic institutions and stakeholder groups.
Experience
As an applied contract research scientist and consultant, Chris Riley offers a wide range of expertise to improve the efficacy of pest control operations, reduce operational costs, reduce the risks posed by pesticides to human health and the environment, strengthen your institutional capacity and give technical support for pest and pesticide management programs in agriculture, forestry and public health. As a researcher he has considerable experience in the aerial application of pesticides for the control of agricultural pests, forest protection and mosquito control. Chris Riley has extensive experience in South America managing and coordinating technology transfer projects sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency. He has a strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control including ISO 17025 and Good Laboratory Prcatices, GLP.
