AGRIFOR Biotechnical Services Is based in New Brunswick, Canada and was created in 2010 by Christopher Riley, an experienced cross-disciplinary contract research scientist, consultant and project manager with over 30 years of experience in the development, validation and communication of strategies to reduce the risks posed by pesticides to human health and the environment. His professional experience, now offered through AGRIFOR Biotechnical Services, includes research and development of improved pesticide application technology as well as the development, management and leadership of long-term, collaborative, multi-disciplinary research projects and international technology transfer projects involving government research organizations, national and regional regulatory agencies, academic institutions and stakeholder groups.
Chris Riley has a B.Sc. Honours degree in Plant Science (Agricultural Botany) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and has a Master's Degree from the Cranfield Institute of Technology. From 1981 to 1984 he was employed as a Graduate Research Assistant with the Mosquito Research and Control Unit, Grand Cayman Island, British West Indies and since 1984 he has worked out of an analytical services laboratory that is operated on a fee-for-service basis by the Provincial Research Organization of New Brunswick (RPC).
